Insurance is not always a component of the work our advisors do for clients, but when it is, it can play a key role in client's planning. The importance of this has led us to develop strong insurance consulting capabilities. Our capabilities give us the knowledge and the leverage with carriers to be advocates for our clients’ needs. Our advisors' knowledge in insurance aids the ability to:
- Minimize the amount of insurance required through case design;
- Determine the most appropriate type of product and then help access it through a cooperative of firms who work with clients like ours;
- Negotiate pricing and underwriting decisions, through multiple companies, as independent advocates for our clients;
- Directly monitor and assess the performance of insurance purchased to assure it continues to achieve the client’s objectives; and
- Provide insurance audits-things have been changing quickly in this industry and there are products and solutions that were not feasible as recently as 5 years ago.
